Introduction
The Special Interest page includes short outlines of the most "burning" issues regarding Pre-Ingest and Ingest. This means, that the partners mentioned in the following paragraphs are highly motivated to co-operate with other countries and organisations to solve the highlighted issues.
Every paragraph starts with a list of interested parties. If you feel that your organisation is willing to put effort into solving some particular issue then feel free to add your name to the list or, alternatively, contact the first organisation in the list to share your interest.
Automated creation of archival descriptions and authority records

Issue outline
The National Archives of Estonia is currently trying to automate the pre-ingest actions done in the agencies while preparing digital records born and described in ERM systems for transfer to the National Archives.
A software tool has been developed to help the agencies records managers and archivists in the process (you can find information about the tool, called UAM in the Country Profile of Estonia). However, in the current version the creation of archival descriptions based on descriptions in the ERMS remains semi-automatical.
All parties with interest in this issue are welcome to join the effort and discuss different possibilities for further automating the process of creating archival descriptions and authority records.
